A **Wiki** (Hawaiian word for "Fast") is a collaborative web page, or group of web pages, that allows you to upload and edit information in a very dynamic, fast and easy way.
The collaborative nature comes from the powerful tool above and to the right of this text: "Edit this Page".
But, why would I se a Wiki if I like **Blogs** (and I have more than one); they are also very dynamic, fast and easy to upload and edit?
BLOG vs. WIKI
According to Technorati, there are over 133 millions of blogs. And that is not a surprise, I have 3 blogs and contribute in a fourth one.
Chronological displacement in blogs that makes them less suitable for uploading contents continuously.
NO chronological displacement in Wikis, instead, they can be continuously edited in a more simple and collaborative way without losing sight of them.
Blogs are personal.
Wikis are Collaborative.
Wikis are becoming incredibly popular, with applications in: Education and Business.
